What Toxins can do to You!

Our Consumer Products can be Dangerous!

Did you know that the accumulative affects of toxins in the human body may be responsible for many of the common degenerative diseases?
We are constantly exposed to toxins:
  • In the polluted air we breath,
  • Buildings we live and work in,
  • Pesticide and Fertilizer laden food we eat,
  • Consumer products we use everyday
We need to take important steps to avoid exposure to these pollutants and chemicals before major issues arise and possibly become life threatening.
There are over 80,000 synthetic chemicals registered by the Environmental Protection Agency that are being used in a variety of consumer goods that we use each and every day. Only a handful of these have ever been tested.  There are and over 10,500 synthetic chemicals being used today in our cosmetics and personal care products. Only a handful of them have been tested for safety!
The average adult uses nine cosmetic products per day. That is an average of over 125 synthetic chemicals being absorbed into our bodies daily!
What can we do about our toxic environment?
  • Avoid using products that contain substances such as parabens (chemical preservatives) and other types of toxic chemicals, which are known to have a link to diseases.
  • Cleanse the body regularly to rid yourself of impurities.
  • Consume the best nutrition and try to avoid toxins such as pesticides and fertilizers by going organic. This will boost your immune system and organs like your liver and kidneys which are your cleansing organs.

Water, Water, Water!

 WATER, WATER and More WATER!!

Improve Your Health

One of the most important steps you can take in improving your health, is increasing your hydration – drinking enough good, clean water everyday because water is so important for all of our bodily functions.
Did you know that:

  • The planet is seventy percent water,
  • Our brain is seventy-six percent water,
  • Our muscles are seventy-five percent and
  • Our bones are made up of twenty-five percent water

 Are you Dehydrated?

Studies show that sixty to seventy percent of our population is dehydrated! The first sign that your body is dehydrated is not thirst. When you are thirsty, it is a sign that your cells are dying. The number one symptom of dehydration is fatigue, being tired all the time.
Gain Energy and Lose Fat With Water

If you want to have more energy, which improves every part of your life, you should drink more water.  Your cells, when hydrated properly, are energized! We are not including coffee, tea, soda, or juice. We are talking about good, pure water.

If you want to lose fat, drink more water. Some people think that is counter productive, and think that if you drink water you’re going to retain water, but that is not true. If you don’t drink enough water, your body will actually hold on to the water and as a result, you will retain water. When you drink enough water, your cells will release the extra water, fat and garbage. This is a HUGE part of your weight loss journey!
How much water should you drink?

A great guideline is half of your body weight in ounces. So if you weigh 200 pounds, you should drink 100 ounces of water. Now if you are over 300 pounds you will need to work your way up to 150 ounces per day, but it shouldn’t take you more than a week to be more comfortable drinking this much water.

Athletes

Fast Facts:
  • We have hundreds of groups of muscles made up of millions of elastic fibers. Athletes may double their muscle mass which requires more food than a non athlete
  • Blood sugar comes mostly from carbohydrates and is the major fuel of the body.
  • Fatty acids are needed because they can be quickly changed over to glucose when the body needs it.
  • Protein, is an important nutrient to an athlete because it is used to repair and maintain muscle tissue.

To Achieve Peak   Performance and Energy Levels:

  • Eat pure, organic foods that are not compromised by chemicals, pesticides or genetic engineering.
  • Consume only the highest quality undenatured whey protein for better absorption and digestion so your body can build muscle and burn fat
  • Replenish lost electrolytes and B Vitamins
  • Include antioxidants into your diet to fight free radicals.
  • Keep well hydrated with clean filtered water.
