Water, Water, Water!

 WATER, WATER and More WATER!!

Improve Your Health

One of the most important steps you can take in improving your health, is increasing your hydration – drinking enough good, clean water everyday because water is so important for all of our bodily functions.
Did you know that:

  • The planet is seventy percent water,
  • Our brain is seventy-six percent water,
  • Our muscles are seventy-five percent and
  • Our bones are made up of twenty-five percent water

 Are you Dehydrated?

Studies show that sixty to seventy percent of our population is dehydrated! The first sign that your body is dehydrated is not thirst. When you are thirsty, it is a sign that your cells are dying. The number one symptom of dehydration is fatigue, being tired all the time.
Gain Energy and Lose Fat With Water

If you want to have more energy, which improves every part of your life, you should drink more water.  Your cells, when hydrated properly, are energized! We are not including coffee, tea, soda, or juice. We are talking about good, pure water.

If you want to lose fat, drink more water. Some people think that is counter productive, and think that if you drink water you’re going to retain water, but that is not true. If you don’t drink enough water, your body will actually hold on to the water and as a result, you will retain water. When you drink enough water, your cells will release the extra water, fat and garbage. This is a HUGE part of your weight loss journey!
How much water should you drink?

A great guideline is half of your body weight in ounces. So if you weigh 200 pounds, you should drink 100 ounces of water. Now if you are over 300 pounds you will need to work your way up to 150 ounces per day, but it shouldn’t take you more than a week to be more comfortable drinking this much water.
